Andar Bahar — Indian card game
Andar Bahar is a fast Indian card game. The dealer opens one card from a 52-card deck — the Joker. Then cards are dealt alternately to Andar (left) and Bahar (right), starting with Andar. The side that first gets a card of the same rank as the Joker wins; suits do not matter.

- 2If side bets are open, you can add one on the position of the matching card.
- 3Press Deal — the Joker is opened and cards are dealt.
- 4The first card matching the Joker’s rank decides the winner.
Features
- Andar pays x1.9 and Bahar x2 (returned amount, including the stake), because Andar receives the first card.
- Side bets on where the matching card appears, from 1–5 up to 41–49.
- One shuffled 52-card deck per hand.
- Provably Fair: the deck order comes from a seed whose hash is shown before the hand.
Questions and answers
Why does Andar pay less than Bahar?
The first card after the Joker always goes to Andar, so Andar wins slightly more often. Its payout is lower to balance that.
Can I bet on both sides?
No. In one hand you can bet on Andar or on Bahar, not both.
